It is always exiting when a New Year begins as a page upon which we will write the history of our life. The past year has been a difficult year for all of us, as we struggled with the pandemic that has taken the lives of so many people across the nation and the world. Nevertheless, thanks to God’s blessings and providence, we are safe and for which we are grateful.
With all the unsafe surroundings, in which we live and with natural disasters occurring now and then, there is a great deal of distress, concern and suffering. Hence, the question arises, where we can find the solid rock to take refuge. The answer is: “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold” (Psalm 18:2).
I wish and pray that this year might be a good and pleasant year for all of you and your families. May God always be present in your life.
Wishing you happy New Year,
Fr. Arul Joseph V.
